How to be a good neighbor and have a clean home: a guide for refugees in the US

Our Secretary, Abdulatif Isaac, wrote this guide to keeping house and being a good neighbor.   All of our guides will eventually be posted here in Arabic and Massalit, as well as in any other Darfuri tribal languages for which we can find a translator.  If you know of anyone who can translate English into Zaghawa, Fur or the other tribal languages, please contact us.

The guide describes how to keep your bathroom and kitchen clean, how to use your smoke alarm and what is expected of courteous neighbors in the US.  It is three pages long.  To read the next page, put your cursor on the page, then go to the bottom and click on the forward arrow.
