Rufaida Health Organization, the Patient Helping Fund and the National Initiative for Development Organization will stop work in Nyala area camps after this month

Together these three organizations provided health services to about 73,860 camp residents, in addition to many persons in South Darfur’s capital, Nyala, plus another 9,300 returnees.  The organizations do not have enough funding to continue their work in the Nyala area beyond April.  All three organizations are Sudanese aid groups.

The number of internally displaced persons in all five Darfur states is 2.5 million.

UNOCHA’s funding for 2015 is only up to 24%.
